In addition to working with mentors, we had site visits with American Artist at Eyebeam; Aliza Shvarts at the Whitney Museum; and Betty Yu of Chinatown Art Brigade at Fourth Arts Block. As a group, we visited galleries in Chelsea and the Upper East Side, and met critic and gallerist Lynn Maliszewski for a walking tour of the Lower East Side. We visited MoMA with curator Kelly Sidley; visited the studios of Quinlan Maggio, Trudy Benson, Sacha Yanow, Dora Budor, and Joseph Liatela; and had individual critiques with guest critics Wendy Vogel, Brendan Fernandes, Jacqueline Mabey, and William Powhida.
